"Beautiful property, very quiet when we stayed in winter. Absolutely picturesque setting. Perfect place to watch the stars from, even if you have to hide behind the little church to get away from the hotel lights - it would be nice if they turned off their outside lights when the aurora is on display. Good vegan options in the restaurant, but would be nice to have more options at breakfast."

"The shower had mildew in it, the room did not have a tv, the breakfast had sub par processed foods and lack of choices. The bed was comfortable and the views were amazing. We paid extra for a room with a door to the porch, but the door had a note that it could not be opened, light flickered on and off all evening and the girl at the front desk wasn’t friendly. "

"This hostel definitely has a fun vibe and a good atmosphere. My husband and I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom and thought it was a decent night's sleep. The kitchen area isn't the best because there is only one stove, so only one group can be cooking at a time, which makes it difficult to guarantee that you will be eating when you want and means you either have to start early before the dinner rush or wait until the previous group is done."
